Wyeast PC West Yorkshire Ale 1469

This strain produces ales with a full chewy malt flavor and character, but finishes dry, producing famously balanced beers. Expect moderate nutty and stone-fruit esters. Best used for the production of cask-conditioned bitters, ESB and mild ales. Reliably flocculent, producing bright beer without filtration.

This provides a chance to make a yeast starter to ensure a strong and healthy ferment. Having a backup yeast, whether liquid or dry, is always a good idea. A yeast starter will also confirm the viability of the yeast. If the yeast was damaged during shipping, we can replace a yeast that doesnï¾’t start, but not a beer that does not ferment.
